The team is part funded by Scottish Mountain Rescue, the Scottish Government and Police, with the majority of funding having to come from public donations.
The current operating cost is between £50,000 and £60,000 per year, just to keep the team where it is with new equipment, vehicles or buildings requiring extra funding’. Donations from the public – our hill users – are always gratefully received.

If you require the assistance of any Mountain Rescue Team within the UK, please dial 999 and ask for the Police who will coordinate with the required personnel.
